We had an all-day rehearsal in Oxford Street yesterday for the upcoming London Mandolin Festival concert, with a full turnout of LME players.
It was our first play through with the LMO of works by Packenham, Mandonico, Schrader and Albrechtberger amongst others, accompanied by two flautists. Should be a lovely concert! Its really nice to be back from holiday, and playing together again!
Tuesday was our first rehearsal of the year, and we celebrated with some in-depth work on Partita Antiqua. Great having Travis Finch play with us too... |
